Overview
The RISE Watchman XR is an accuracy-focused, extended-range AR-15 rifle chambered in 6mm ARC, introduced by RISE Armament in 2024. Designed for PRS-style competition, varmint hunting, and medium game such as whitetail and antelope, the XR pairs an 18-inch fluted 416R stainless steel barrel with a rifle-length gas system and RISE's ICONIC independent two-stage trigger (a 1-pound first stage and 2-pound second stage). It runs on forged aluminum receivers and a 15.25-inch free-floating skeletonized handguard, wears a Magpul PRS Lite precision stock and MOE+ grip, and uses an ambidextrous charging handle plus a short-throw 69-degree ambidextrous safety. The premium bolt carrier group uses a 9310 bolt that is MPI tested and black nitride finished, and the muzzle is crowned with an 11-degree target crown. The efficient, low-drag 6mm ARC cartridge gives the Watchman XR genuine long-range reach in a lightweight AR-15-pattern platform, with a guaranteed sub-MOA accuracy standard.
