Overview

The Rizzini BR460 is an Italian over-under competition shotgun chambered in 12 gauge, built by Battista Rizzini of Marcheno in the Val Trompia gunmaking district. Designed for clay-target disciplines including Skeet, Sporting, Trap and Double Trap, it uses a Boss-style receiver with an improved locking mechanism intended to reduce felt recoil. The break-action gun features 30-inch or 32-inch barrels, five extended screw-in choke tubes, a removable and adjustable single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, and a Grade 3 Turkish walnut stock with an adjustable comb.

Background

Battista Rizzini founded his shotgun workshop in 1966 in Marcheno, in Italy's historic Val Trompia gunmaking valley, and the firm became known for high-grade over-under and side-by-side guns; the BR460 is positioned as its dedicated clay-target competition over-under.
