Overview

The Rizzini Regal Royal Special is an Italian over/under break-action shotgun built by Battista Rizzini of Marcheno in the Val Trompia gunmaking region of Brescia, offered as a collaboration with Royal Sporting Arms on the round-body Regal platform. It uses a low-profile anodized steel round-body boxlock frame with sideplates, pairing automatic ejectors and a single selective trigger with chrome-lined 29-inch barrels, a vented rib and five nickel-coated flush choke tubes. The gun is stocked in hand-selected Turkish walnut with a Prince of Wales grip and 26 LPI checkering, and is dressed with round-body ornamental scroll engraving featuring upland birds in flight over a coin or case-hardened finish. It is chambered in the smaller upland gauges: 20, 28, 32 and .410 bore.
