Overview
The Rock River Arms LAR-15 is an American AR-15-pattern semi-automatic carbine chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Built on forged aluminum upper and lower receivers with a direct gas-impingement operating system, the LAR-15 line is offered in numerous configurations including standard carbines, tactical law-enforcement models, and the R3 Competition variant. Common features include a free-floating handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail, a chrome-lined or stainless 16-inch barrel, and an adjustable buttstock. It is widely used by civilian sport shooters and U.S. law enforcement agencies.
