Overview

The Rossi Overland is a side-by-side double-barrel shotgun chambered in 12 gauge, built in the classic 'coach gun' configuration with short 20-inch barrels, exposed external hammers, and twin triggers. Produced in Brazil by Amadeo Rossi from 1978 to 1994, it pairs a walnut buttstock and detachable beavertail forend with fixed chokes (modified and improved cylinder) and a top-break action. Its compact length and old-west styling made it popular with cowboy action shooters, ranchers, and home defenders.

Notes

Chambered for 2.75-inch and 3-inch 12 gauge shells. The exposed hammers must be manually cocked before firing each barrel; the twin triggers select between the two barrels. Also offered historically in 20 gauge.
