Overview
The Rossi RS22 Pistol is a compact .22 LR rimfire pistol introduced in 2025, derived from the popular RS22 semi-automatic rimfire rifle. It carries a 6-inch threaded carbon-steel barrel for suppressor use, a black polymer frame, a 10-round magazine, and accepts all RS22 rifle magazines. The pistol is built around a multi-rail layout, with an aluminum optics rail for red dots, a rear-facing Picatinny section to mount a stabilizing brace, and a front accessory rail for lights or lasers, making it an inexpensive plinking and trainer platform.

Background
Rossi took its best-selling RS22 plinking rifle, lopped it down to a 6-inch threaded barrel, and added a brace rail to create a suppressor-ready rimfire pistol that still feeds from the same rifle magazines.
