Overview
The Rost Martin RM1C is a striker-fired, short-recoil-operated 9x19mm compact semi-automatic pistol introduced in 2024 as the debut product of Rost Martin, a Texas-based manufacturer. The compact member of the RM1 platform, it pairs a 4-inch hammer-forged barrel with a black polymer frame and nitrocarburized steel slide, ships with one flush 15-round and one extended 17-round magazine, and features ambidextrous controls, a flat-faced trigger, and an optics-ready slide that comes with a Trijicon RMR-pattern plate, all positioned at a value price point.

Notes
Rost Martin markets the trigger as a "Double Action Striker (DAS)" system. The RM1F is the full-size sibling on the same platform; the RM1C uses proprietary Rost Martin double-stack magazines (not advertised as Glock-pattern compatible). Extended 17-round magazine raises height to ~5.5 in.
Background
Rost Martin was founded in Texas by Chris and Stefany Toomer, and the RM1C - their very first product - launched at SHOT Show 2024 as a fully American-made, optics-ready carry pistol undercutting the established compact 9mm market on price.
