Also known as: Ruger American Rifle Generation II Ranch, American Ranch Gen II
Overview
The Ruger American Gen II Ranch is a compact bolt-action rifle and the second-generation update of Ruger's American Ranch line. Chambered in .223 Remington/5.56 NATO, it features a 16.1-inch spiral-fluted and threaded barrel with a Cobalt Cerakote finish, feeds from AR-style magazines, and uses a Flat Dark Earth splatter-finished stock with an adjustable length of pull. The Gen II redesign adds the three-lug 70-degree bolt, factory-set Ruger Marksman adjustable trigger, and an integral Picatinny scope base, making it a lightweight, handy rifle for ranch work, hunting, and general utility.
