Background
The Ruger American Rifle's patented Power Bedding system uses an integral bedding block molded into the stock that positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel, delivering sub-MOA accuracy potential at a price point that undercut most competitors by hundreds of dollars when it debuted in 2012.
