Also known as: STT-15, STT15, STT-15 Ambi, STT-15 Tactical
Overview
The San Tan Tactical STT-15 Pillar is a premium billet-machined AR-15 semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, built around the company's signature fully ambidextrous pillar billet receiver set. Each upper and lower receiver is cut from a single block of 7075-T6 certified aerospace aluminum and hand-matched as a true pillar set, producing perfectly concentric and perpendicular surfaces for enhanced accuracy and a tight, rattle-free fit. The flagship configuration pairs a 16-inch mid-length barrel with a Midwest Industries combat M-LOK handguard, a CMC Triggers 3.5-pound single-stage flat-bow trigger, an STT Enhanced 9310 case-hardened bolt carrier group, and a Magpul MOE stock and grip. The receiver provides fully ambidextrous controls, including bolt release, magazine release, and an ambidextrous charging handle, making it equally usable by left- and right-handed shooters without additional parts. Available in barrel lengths from 7.5 inches up to 16 inches and in multiple anodized and Cerakote finishes, the STT-15 represents San Tan Tactical's foundational rifle line and the platform that launched the original ambidextrous AR-15 receiver.

Background
San Tan Tactical was founded in 2014 in Chandler, Arizona, to produce what it markets as the original 100% ambidextrous AR-15 receiver set, designed so the rifle's operation melds to every shooter without bolt-on ambidextrous accessories.
