Overview
The Sarsilmaz SAR9 SC Gen3 is the third-generation subcompact of the striker-fired SAR9 family, built for daily concealed carry. It pairs a forged steel slide and 3.3-inch barrel with a slim polymer frame, 12+1 standard capacity (with magazines fitting pinky extensions, and compatibility with larger 15- and 17-round SAR9 magazines), three-dot tritium U-notch/post sights and an RMSc-footprint optic-cut slide that co-witnesses with the night sights. The Gen3 upgrade brings an improved flat-faced trigger with a clean 90-degree break and short reset.

Background
The SAR9 line was developed by Sarsilmaz partly from its experience producing the Turkish military's standard sidearm, and the platform's Gen3 endurance regimen of 150,000 rounds was a deliberate marketing answer to skeptics of Turkish-made striker pistols.
