Overview
The Sarsilmaz SAR9T is a threaded-barrel variant of the striker-fired SAR9 semi-automatic pistol, chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum and manufactured in Turkey by Sarsilmaz. The muzzle-threaded barrel allows a suppressor or other muzzle device to be mounted directly to the pistol, making it a suppressor-ready host built on the full-size SAR9 platform. Like the base gun, it uses a short-recoil, tilting-barrel action with a polymer frame, a 20-degree grip angle, and interchangeable backstraps for fitting different hand sizes. The forged-steel slide, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, and accessory rail carry over from the standard SAR9, and the pistol feeds from a 17-round detachable box magazine.
