Sauer 101

Also known as: Sauer S 101, S101
Overview
The Sauer 101 is a German bolt-action hunting rifle introduced in 2011 by J.P. Sauer & Sohn as an affordable companion to the premium Sauer 202. It uses a conventional turn-bolt action with a six-lug bolt head whose locking lugs seat directly in the barrel rather than the receiver, giving a short 60-degree bolt lift. Available in a wide range of centerfire calibers including .308 Winchester, it feeds from a staggered detachable polymer box magazine and is offered with walnut or synthetic stocks.
