Overview
The Savage 110 Precision is a bolt-action chassis rifle designed for long-range precision shooting and competition, built on Savage's proven Model 110 action. The rifle ships in an MDT LSS XL aluminum chassis with adjustable cheek piece and length of pull, paired with Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger for consistent, crisp trigger pulls. Chambered in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor among other calibers, the 110 Precision features a 26-inch heavy fluted barrel with threaded muzzle, 20 MOA Picatinny rail, and accepts standard AICS-pattern detachable box magazines. The rifle delivers sub-MOA accuracy at a competitive price point, making it a popular choice for PRS-style competition and tactical applications.

Notes
The 110 Precision uses Savage's barrel nut system, allowing relatively easy barrel changes compared to conventional threaded barrel systems. The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable from approximately 1.5 to 6 pounds without gunsmithing. The MDT LSS XL chassis accepts standard AR-15 pistol grips and buffer tube-compatible buttstocks. The Elite Precision variant upgrades to an MDT ACC chassis with TDT (Tunable Dampening Technology) for reduced felt recoil. MSRP ranges from approximately $1,500-$1,800.
Background
The Savage 110 Precision brought MDT chassis-rifle ergonomics and sub-MOA precision to the under-$2,000 price bracket, helping democratize competitive long-range shooting alongside rivals like the Ruger Precision Rifle and Bergara HMR.
