Notes

The PROOF Research barrel is button-rifled stainless steel wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber, featuring an 11-degree target crown. The spiral-fluted bolt body reduces weight and enhances bolt manipulation. The carbon fiber stock incorporates a synthetic raised comb and Accufit system for length-of-pull adjustment. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 for suppressor compatibility. Despite its light weight, the rifle maintains excellent accuracy due to the inherent stiffness of the carbon fiber barrel wrapping.

Background

The Savage 110 Ultralite was designed to address the booming demand for sub-6-pound mountain rifles, partnering with PROOF Research to deliver carbon fiber barrel technology at a price point well below competitors like Christensen Arms, making ultralight precision accessible to a broader market of backcountry hunters.
