Overview
The Savage Axis II is a budget-priced bolt-action centerfire hunting rifle and the upgraded version of the Axis line, adding Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger. It uses a button-rifled carbon-steel barrel, a detachable box magazine and a synthetic stock, and is offered across a broad range of popular hunting chamberings including .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243 Win, .270 Win and .30-06.
