Overview
The Savage Model 11 is a short-action, bolt-action centerfire hunting rifle built on Savage Arms' Model 110 receiver family. Introduced with the company's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, it is chambered for short-action cartridges such as .243 Winchester and is widely sold in hunting configurations with synthetic, laminated, or walnut stocks. Its barrel-nut headspacing system and floating bolt head give the platform a reputation for out-of-the-box accuracy at a modest price.
