Overview
The Searcy Classic is a side-by-side double rifle built by B. Searcy & Co. of Boron, California, around a hammerless Anson & Deeley boxlock action with double Purdey bolting and a top extension. Chambered for large-bore Nitro Express cartridges such as the .450 Nitro Express, it is a break-action dangerous-game rifle intended for hunting the largest and most dangerous animals. It features 24 to 26 inch barrels, automatic ejectors, double triggers, a quarter-rib with fixed express rear sight, a caterpillar front sight, a color case-hardened action and an English walnut stock.
