Overview
The Shadow Systems CR920XP is the high-performance compensated variant of the CR920 subcompact platform, engineered to deliver maximum recoil control from a concealable package. Chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, it features a 3.4-inch spiral-fluted match-grade barrel in 416R stainless steel with a patent-pending steel compensator that extends the overall barrel assembly to 3.65 inches. The compensator nests into the extended dustcover, maintaining Glock 43X holster compatibility despite the added muzzle device. The 'XP' designation stands for 'Xtreme Performance,' reflecting the emphasis on controllability and fast follow-up shots. The Elite variant includes Shadow Systems' patented multi-footprint optic cut on the 17-4 stainless steel slide, accepting micro red dots from Shield, Holosun, Trijicon, and others without adapter plates. The slide features directional topside serrations and a weight-optimizing window cut. At 21.2 ounces empty, the CR920XP ships with two 15-round flush-fit magazines and features a tritium front night sight. The trigger pull averages 4.5 to 5 pounds with a crisp, tactile reset, making it one of the lighter triggers in the subcompact class.
