Overview
The Shadow Systems E526 is a 5.56mm NATO braced AR pistol introduced at SHOT Show 2026 as part of Shadow Systems' first foray into the rifle/carbine market. Built around an 11.5-inch chrome-lined barrel deliberately chosen to preserve meaningful velocity and terminal performance in a compact package, it features a pinned military-grade gas block, the proprietary Maelstrom flash hider with a Plan B suppressor interface, a true two-stage duty trigger, premium bolt carrier group coatings, and modern ambidextrous controls. It is the pistol counterpart to the 16-inch U526 rifle.
