Also known as: SIG Sauer Cross, Cross Bolt-Action Rifle
Overview
The SIG Cross is a modular bolt-action precision and hunting rifle introduced by SIG Sauer in 2020. Built around a one-piece aluminum receiver with an AR-style ergonomic pistol grip, ambidextrous safety, and an M-LOK precision handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail, it bridges the gap between a lightweight hunting rifle and a precision platform. A floating bolt head and barrel-nut system allow the user to swap barrels without a gunsmith, and the folding, fully adjustable precision stock lets the shooter tune length of pull and comb height. Chambered most commonly in 6.5 Creedmoor, it feeds from AICS-pattern detachable magazines and uses a two-stage match trigger.

Notes
The Cross was offered in 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, and the proprietary .277 SIG Fury. The folding stock and tool-less barrel swap system were among its headline features. Early production examples were subject to a 2021 recall related to the firing mechanism, after which an updated trigger and bolt design were introduced.
Background
SIG Sauer marketed the Cross as a do-everything modular rifle that could transition from a backcountry hunting gun to a long-range target rifle, leaning on the company's experience with the modular MCX/MPX systems and the .277 SIG Fury cartridge developed for the U.S. Army's Next Generation Squad Weapon program.
