SIG Cross Magnum

Also known as: SIG Sauer Cross Magnum, Cross Magnum
Overview
The SIG Cross Magnum is a lightweight bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, introduced in 2023 as the magnum-action evolution of the SIG Cross precision hunting rifle. It uses a coyote-anodized aluminum chassis frame, a user-changeable 24-inch 5R medium-contour barrel, a free-floating handguard with full-length M-Lok and ARCA rails, and a folding adjustable precision stock that lets the rifle collapse for transport. An integrated radial compensator reduces felt recoil of the magnum cartridge, and the rifle feeds from a 6-round AICS-pattern steel magazine through a two-stage match trigger.

Notes
Built around an enlarged magnum action receiver to accommodate belted magnum cartridges, extending the original Cross platform beyond its short-action chamberings. SIG cites a roughly 45 percent reduction in felt recoil from the integrated radial compensator. The folding stock brings the overall length down to just over 35 inches (about 895 mm) for storage and transport.
Background
The original SIG Cross debuted in 2020 as an ultralight crossover between a hunting rifle and a precision chassis rifle. The Cross Magnum extended that concept to belted magnum cartridges, giving long-range hunters a folding, modular .300 Win Mag rifle that still stays under nine pounds.
