Overview
The SM-9/SM-90 Phantom is an American selective-fire 9x19mm submachine gun (machine pistol) that traces to the Cellini-Dunn SM-9 of 1977 and was produced by Eagle Arms Corporation of Goldsboro, North Carolina in the early 1980s as the SM-90 (also cataloged as the M201). It is a compact, blowback-operated weapon firing from an open bolt at a cyclic rate of around 1200 rounds per minute, fed by a 32-round double-column box magazine. Only limited commercial quantities were produced before the design left the market.
