Overview
The Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P 10mm M2.0 Carry Comp is an integrally-compensated, optics-ready striker-fired pistol chambered in 10mm Auto, introduced in 2026 as part of the Carry Comp series. It uses a PowerPort positioned at the twelve o'clock position at the end of the 4-inch barrel that vents gas upward to counteract muzzle rise and reduce felt recoil from the powerful 10mm cartridge. It ships with two 15-round magazines, factory night sights and a flat-face trigger.

The Carry Comp system integrates the compensator porting into the barrel and slide rather than as a separate threaded muzzle device. Optics-ready slide accepts a variety of micro red dot footprints via the M&P optics mounting system.
Background
The 10mm Auto cartridge was championed by firearms instructor Jeff Cooper and famously adopted by the FBI after the 1986 Miami shootout, only to be downloaded so heavily that it spawned the .40 S&W; the Carry Comp brings the full-power round into a tamer, compensated carry package.
