The Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Metal HD is a steel-framed, striker-fired 9x19mm duty pistol introduced in 2026. A stainless-steel frame and slide with Armornite finish push the empty weight to about 35 ounces, damping recoil for faster follow-up shots, and it ships with a 5-inch barrel, 17-round magazines, a flat-faced M2.0 trigger, Night Fision tritium sights and a C.O.R.E. optics cut.

Background
