Background

The 10-8 name comes from Hilton Yam's gunsmithing shop, named after the police radio code '10-8' meaning 'in service and ready'; Yam built his reputation hard-fitting no-nonsense duty 1911s, and this collaboration distills that fighting-pistol philosophy into a production gun.
