Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro Comp

Springfield Armory, Inc. · Pistol · In Production · 2024

Also known as: Hellcat Pro Comp, Hellcat Pro Comp OSP

Overview

The Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro Comp is an integrally compensated variant of the micro-compact Hellcat Pro carry pistol chambered in 9mm. A single port on the top of the hammer-forged barrel and slide redirects gas upward to cut muzzle rise and felt recoil, giving the compact carry gun flatter, faster follow-up shots without adding length to the slide. It retains the optics-ready (OSP) slide of the standard Hellcat Pro along with the 3.7-inch barrel and 15-round flush magazine, and ships with an additional 17-round extended magazine.

Background

The Hellcat Pro Comp brought the integral compensator - once the preserve of competition and duty guns - down into the everyday-carry micro-compact class, betting that concealed-carry shooters would trade a small slug of upward-vented gas for a noticeably flatter-shooting pocket pistol.
