The Springfield SAINT Victor .308 is Springfield Armory's large-frame AR-10 chambered in .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO, bringing the feature set of the SAINT Victor line to a hard-hitting battle-rifle cartridge. It uses a 16-inch lightweight-profile CMV barrel with a Melonite finish and 1:10 twist, fed by a direct-impingement mid-length gas system with a pinned, low-profile adjustable gas block for tuning across loads and suppressor use. The rifle features a full-length free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard, an SA muzzle brake, a nickel-boron-coated flat GI single-stage trigger, an enhanced Melonite BCG with a shot-peened 9310 bolt, flip-up sights, and BCMGUNFIGHTER furniture. It ships with a 20-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 .308 magazine and uses SR-25/DPMS-pattern magazines.

Background

After the SAINT line proved Springfield could compete in the AR-15 space, the .308 SAINT Victor extended the platform into the AR-10 / large-frame market, giving Springfield a do-it-all 7.62 rifle for hunting, defense, and range use at a mid-tier price.
