Notes

The XD-S is manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory. The original HS2000 was adopted by the Croatian military and law enforcement. The Mod.2 variant added improved grip texturing and the OSP variant adds optics-ready capability. Extended 9-round magazines are available for the 9mm version.

Background

The XD-S was one of the first slim single-stack 9mm pistols designed specifically for the concealed carry boom of the 2010s. At just 0.9 inches wide, it set the standard for pocket-sized 9mm pistols before the high-capacity micro-compact revolution rendered single-stack designs largely obsolete.
