Staccato HD
Staccato 2011, LLC · Pistol · In Production · 2025
Also known as: Staccato HD P4, Staccato HD P4.5
Overview
The Staccato HD is a full-size, steel-framed 2011-pattern semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, forming the flagship of Staccato's HD (Heavy Duty) family unveiled in 2025. Built around a double-stack metal frame with a Glock-pattern magazine, it pairs a single-action 1911-style trigger with a bull barrel, an optic-ready slide, an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. Offered in all-purpose P4 (4.0-inch barrel) and duty P4.5 (4.5-inch barrel) configurations feeding from 18-round magazines, the HD targets professional duty and competition use while retaining the low-recoil, flat-shooting character of the 2011 platform.

Notes
The HD family marks Staccato's move to a redesigned steel-frame architecture and Glock-pattern double-stack magazines. Full-size steel-frame models are the P4 and P4.5; the lighter aluminum-framed C3.6 and C4X are the compact carry members of the same family.
Background
Staccato 2011 grew out of STI International and became a favored sidearm of U.S. law-enforcement agencies before the HD family extended the 2011 concept onto a heavier steel frame using widely available Glock-pattern magazines.
