Overview
The Stag 15 Tactical is a modern direct-impingement AR-15 carbine chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, representing Stag Arms' rebirth following their relocation from Connecticut to Wyoming. This rifle features a 16-inch government profile barrel made from 4150 steel with a 1-in-7-inch twist rate, available in either black nitride or mil-spec phosphate finish with chrome lining. The mid-length gas system provides reduced recoil and improved reliability compared to carbine-length systems. The rifle utilizes a 13.5-inch Stag 15 Slimline M-LOK free-floating handguard offering 21 M-LOK slot positions for accessory mounting while maintaining a slim, ergonomic profile. Standard features include a Magpul MOE SL adjustable stock, Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard, Magpul MOE pistol grip, and one Magpul Gen M2 PMag magazine. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers are finished with Type 3 hard anodizing for durability. The rifle includes an A2 flash hider and receiver tensioning screw for enhanced accuracy by eliminating play between upper and lower receivers.
