The BG is a minor variant within the extensive Star Model B lineup (B, Super B, BM, BKM, BS, BG). Variant-specific dimensions closely follow the standard full-size Model B; some fields are estimated from the base model due to limited BG-specific documentation.

Background

Star's Model B pistols were 1911-pattern clones so well-regarded that Nazi Germany purchased large numbers during World War II to arm police and second-line troops, and the family stayed in production for nearly six decades.
