Overview
The Star CU Starlet is a compact .25 ACP straight-blowback vest-pocket pistol made in Spain by Star Bonifacio Echeverria. Introduced in 1957, it used a lightweight aluminium-alloy frame mated to a steel slide and fixed barrel, with fixed sights, plastic grips, a single-action hammer and an 8-round detachable magazine. The black-anodized frame was offered in colour finishes such as blue, green, grey and gold, paired with a blued or chrome slide, making it a popular deep-concealment and purse pistol until imports to the United States ended under the Gun Control Act of 1968.
