Overview

The Star Modelo S is a Spanish compact single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .380 ACP, built by Star Bonifacio Echeverria. Introduced in 1935, it scaled the company's 1911-pattern locked-breech design down into a smaller, lighter service and pocket pistol while retaining a full-size grip. It saw wide adoption by the Spanish Air Force, the Spanish Foreign Legion, and Spanish police forces, remaining in service into the 1990s.
