Also known as: Steyr LG 110, Steyr Match LG 110, Steyr LG-110

Overview

The Steyr LG110 is a single-shot, .177 (4.5mm) calibre pre-charged pneumatic match air rifle built by Steyr Sportwaffen of Austria for ISSF 10 metre Air Rifle competition and field target disciplines. It draws compressed air from a 200 bar cylinder beneath the barrel to launch a single breech-loaded diabolo pellet, with the 10 metre Match and Light models tuned to roughly 7.5 joules to meet competition energy limits. Built on an adjustable aluminium chassis, it offers an infinitely adjustable Steyr match trigger, fully adjustable diopter target sights, and an extensively configurable stock — rotatable and swivelable grip, adjustable cheek piece, forend and butt plate, plus barrel balance weights — allowing each rifle to be fitted precisely to the shooter. Higher-power FT and HP hunting variants extend the platform to field target and small-game use.

Notes

Not a cartridge firearm — the LG110 is a precision 10m air rifle firing .177 pellets via a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) system. Offered in 10m Match/Light, Field Target (FT) and High Power (HP/Hunting) configurations; the HP variants are tuned for higher muzzle energy than the 7.5 J competition models.

Background

Steyr's LG-series match air rifles have long held a top tier in international 10m Air Rifle competition, and the LG110 carried that pedigree into world-record-setting precision shooting while spawning field-target and high-power hunting variants.
