Overview
The Steyr LP10 is a single-shot, .177 (4.5mm) calibre pre-charged pneumatic match air pistol built by Steyr Sportwaffen of Austria for ISSF 10 metre Air Pistol competition. Introduced around 2000, it draws compressed air from a 200 bar cylinder beneath the barrel to launch a single breech-loaded diabolo pellet, and is renowned for the precision and consistency that made it one of the most successful Olympic-discipline air pistols of its era. It features an infinitely adjustable Steyr ball-bearing two-stage match trigger, fully adjustable open target sights on an adjustable sight radius, an anatomically carved walnut grip, and a recoil-absorbing barrel suspension to minimise muzzle disturbance.

Not a cartridge firearm — the LP10 is a precision 10m air pistol firing .177 pellets via a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) system. Later offered with an electronic trigger as the LP10 E, and ultimately superseded by the Steyr EVO 10 line.
Background
Steyr's match air pistols dominated international 10m Air Pistol competition through the 2000s, and the LP10 became a benchmark Olympic-discipline pistol carried by top-ranked ISSF shooters before being evolved into the EVO 10.
