Also known as: M3000 Sporting

Overview

The Stoeger M3000 Sporting is a 2026 clay-target configuration of the M3000 inertia-driven semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun. It uses Benelli's Inertia Driven system, which cycles 2-3/4-inch and 3-inch shells off recoil energy without bleeding gas, keeping the action clean over long shooting sessions. The Sporting is built around a 30-inch ported barrel with a wide ventilated rib and a fiber-optic front sight, prioritizing heat management and sight clarity during high-volume sporting clays and skeet shooting. Controls are sized for speed: an oversized anodized-aluminum bolt handle and bolt release, an enlarged safety, and an enlarged loading port. It ships with a five-tube set of extended choke tubes (SK1, SK2, Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, and Modified) and includes a drop-and-cast shim kit for a custom stock fit. The gun runs best with 3-dram, 1-1/8-ounce target loads.

Background

The M3000 Sporting brings Benelli's premium inertia-driven action to the sporting clays course at a budget price - a 30-inch ported barrel, race-sized controls, and a full set of extended chokes aimed squarely at high-volume target shooters who do not want to pay Italian-made money.
