The Surgeon Scalpel 591 is an American precision bolt-action sniper rifle built around the Surgeon 591 short action, a Remington 700 footprint receiver machined with an integral .250-inch recoil lug and a full-length 20 MOA Picatinny rail. Chambered in .308 Winchester, it pairs a heavy Palma match-grade stainless steel barrel with a TriggerTech trigger and a Magpul Pro chassis stock, feeding from detachable box magazines. It is used by law enforcement precision units and competitive long-range shooters.
