Notes

The .380 ACP chambering in a revolver is highly unusual, as this cartridge was designed for semi-automatic pistols. The shorter .380 ACP case allows for a more compact cylinder compared to traditional revolver calibers. Cartridges can be fired without moon clips but spent cases must be manually extracted one at a time. With moon clips, all five cases eject simultaneously.

Background

Taurus's revolver manufacturing expertise traces back to their acquisition of the Smith & Wesson factory in Brazil, giving them access to decades of refined revolver-building knowledge that continues to influence their designs today.
