The Taurus 480 Raging Bull is a large-frame revolver chambered in .480 Ruger, manufactured by Taurus since 2003. The .480 Ruger was designed to provide excellent hunting performance with lower pressure and recoil than .454 Casull. Despite generating substantial power (1,782 J with 325gr bullets), the .480 Ruger operates at 48,000 PSI compared to .454 Casull's 65,000 PSI, resulting in more manageable recoil.
