The TH45 was announced in July 2023, expanding the TH series to include .45 ACP alongside 9mm and .40 S&W. The 13-round capacity is competitive with other double-stack .45 ACP pistols. Taurus also announced a TH10 in 10mm around the same time.

Background

Taurus's semi-automatic pistol development accelerated dramatically after acquiring Beretta's Brazilian manufacturing facility in 1980, and the company has since developed an increasingly independent lineup of original designs alongside their proven Beretta-derived models.
