Overview
The Taylor's 1886 Journey is a modern lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government, based on the classic Winchester Model 1886 action and manufactured in Italy by Armi Sport (Chiappa) for Taylor's & Company. Aimed at backcountry hunters and guides, it pairs the traditional falling-block-locked lever action with contemporary features: a 19-inch threaded barrel for muzzle devices, a black Cerakote finish, a camo synthetic stock and forend, an oversized loop lever, a fiber-optic front sight, and a Picatinny rail rear sight for mounting optics.
