The Taylor's 1892 Alaskan Takedown is a pistol-caliber lever-action rifle on the Winchester 1892 pattern, chambered in .357 Magnum or .44 Magnum with a 16-inch barrel and a seven-round tubular magazine. A takedown receiver lets the rifle split into two halves for packing, and it weighs about 5.9 pounds. A suppressor-ready version with a threaded muzzle trades two rounds of capacity for the thread protector and brake.
