Overview
The Taylor's 1873 Cattleman Gunfighter is a single-action revolver, a modern reproduction of the Colt 1873 Single Action Army imported by Taylor's & Company and manufactured by Uberti of Italy. Chambered in .357 Magnum (and capable of firing .38 Special), it uses a forged color case-hardened steel frame, a six-round revolving cylinder loaded through a side gate, and army-size walnut grips. The Gunfighter package adds a factory-tuned action with polished internals and lighter hammer and trigger springs for a smoother, lighter pull, while a hammer-block safety allows all six chambers to be carried loaded.
