The Taylor's Smoke Wagon is a single-action revolver, a modernized replica of the 1873 Colt Single Action Army built in Italy by Uberti for Taylor's & Company. It combines classic stagecoach styling with a case-hardened forged steel frame, blued barrel and cylinder, and a thin, checkered walnut grip. Distinguishing features include a low-sitting hammer and a wider rear sight notch for faster sight acquisition, making it a popular choice for cowboy action shooting.

Background
The name 'Smoke Wagon' is period Old West slang for a revolver, popularized by the film Tombstone. The design descends directly from the 1873 Colt Single Action Army, the 'Peacemaker' that won the U.S. service revolver trials of 1872.
