The Taylor's 1886 TC86 Takedown is a lever-action rifle on the Winchester 1886 pattern chambered in .45-70 Government, with a 16.5-inch barrel, four-round tubular magazine and a takedown receiver that splits the rifle for transport. It weighs 7 pounds 13 ounces and pairs a colour case-hardened receiver and checkered walnut pistol-grip stock with a Skinner peep on a Weaver rail, a fibre-optic front sight and a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle.
