Notes

The T3x UPR was introduced in 2023 as Tikka's answer to the growing demand for precision-oriented rifles that remain light and portable enough for field use. The stock design incorporates a vertical pistol grip angle and adjustable cheek piece hardware that mimics the ergonomics of chassis-style rifles while maintaining the lighter weight of a conventional stock. Available in .223 Remington, .308 Winchester, and 6.5 Creedmoor. The T3x action features a two-lug bolt design with a 70-degree bolt lift. The UPR name stands for Ultimate Precision Rifle, positioning it as the most accuracy-focused model in the T3x lineup outside of the chassis-based TAC A1.

Background

Tikka rifles are manufactured by Sako Ltd in Riihimaki, Finland, where the extreme Nordic climate provides a natural testing environment for firearms durability. The T3x UPR represents Tikka's philosophy of providing maximum capability per dollar, delivering accuracy that rivals rifles costing two to three times as much -- a trait that has made the T3x platform one of the most popular precision rifle actions in the world for custom builds.
