Overview
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 Elite Pistol is a premium .22 LR semi-automatic AR-style pistol with aluminum upper and lower receivers, an 11-inch barrel, 9-inch aluminum M-LOK handguard, and an adjustable T5 arm brace. It retains full M4-style functionality including bolt catch, forward assist, nickel-plated bolt, and adjustable flip-up sights, and is largely mil-spec compatible with standard AR-15 accessories.

Background
Tippmann Arms Co. of Missouri (a separate entity from the paintball-marker maker Tippmann Sports) built its reputation on the M4-22, a faithful all-aluminum, mil-spec-compatible .22 LR clone of the AR-15/M4 that lets shooters train on a true M4 manual of arms with cheap rimfire ammunition.
