Overview
The Tippmann Arms M4-22 LTE is the lightweight, value-oriented model in the M4-22 line, a .22 LR semi-automatic tactical rimfire rifle with aluminum upper and lower receivers and all the features of a true M4. Largely mil-spec compatible, it accepts most AR-15 stocks, handguards, and sights, and serves as an affordable platform for training applications or backyard plinking.

Background
Tippmann Arms Co. of Missouri (a separate entity from the paintball-marker maker Tippmann Sports) built its reputation on the M4-22, a faithful all-aluminum, mil-spec-compatible .22 LR clone of the AR-15/M4 that lets shooters train on a true M4 manual of arms with cheap rimfire ammunition.
