Tippmann Arms M4-22 WMR Magnum Elite Tactical Rifle

Tippmann Arms Company · Rifle · In Production · 2024

Overview

The Tippmann Arms M4-22 WMR Magnum Elite is the company's first .22 WMR (.22 Magnum) chambered model, a semi-automatic tactical rimfire rifle with aluminum upper and lower receivers and all the features of a true M4. The more potent .22 WMR cartridge makes it an ideal small-game and varmint platform. It carries a 16-inch 4150 steel barrel with a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and A2 birdcage flash hider, a free-float 12-inch aluminum M-LOK handguard, nickel-plated bolt, and a straight-profile 15-round magazine modified internally to accommodate the longer .22 WMR cartridge.

Background

Tippmann Arms Co. of Missouri (a separate entity from the paintball-marker maker Tippmann Sports) built its reputation on the M4-22, a faithful all-aluminum, mil-spec-compatible .22 LR clone of the AR-15/M4 that lets shooters train on a true M4 manual of arms with cheap rimfire ammunition.
